Today, Lisa, the kids, my parents and I headed in search of an oasis, of sorts. Brandi Fenton Memorial Park (River & Alvernon) was rumored to have a splash park! We found a huge park complete with grassy fields, covered playgrounds, a dog park, and a splash park...an amazingly fun splash park...certainly comparable to the little kids' area at most water parks. There were just a couple other tots running around...we had a marvelous time.

We went there last year and the kids had a blast!
Was the water temperature warm? When we were there, it was freezing!
Well, we were never cold...no goosebumps. Water wasn't warm, but the pure heat of the desert more than made up for that.
I think I would even love it! :)
