Learning so much

I've been learning a lot about 1-year-olds recently...well, Kaia, specifically. Who knew that reverse psychology works at this age? Or that she would climb up everything? Or love my friend Abby so much that she says her name anytime I mention the word friend? Or be so fascinated with gum, that anytime I dig in my purse, she'd ask for it then proceed in a mini-tantrum when I said no? Or kiss our faces anytime David or I fell asleep (yes, we now pretend to sleep to enjoy these even more frequently)? Or enjoy giving her friends a ride on her toy bus?

This afternoon, D and I were blown away once again - she grabbed a much-loved Clementine out of the fruit bowl, peeled it, and ate it...all without any adult interference.

How does this happen? :)

Awh, doesn't that make you sad and proud at the same time?

I love that picture of her at the zoo! She is so stinkin' adorable...

Those are those times you look at her and go, "Dang, you are such a BIG girl!" It is shocking, isn't it? She is a DOLL!

Wow that is awesome! Way to go mama, raising an independent young lady! And, a super cute one at that!

So cute! I love the kisses and orange stories. I would pretend to sleep more often, too. :)
